Symptoms

During the first few weeks of therapy, your testosterone levels may rise before they fall. As a result, you may temporarily experience new or worsening symptoms of prostate cancer, including urinary symptoms and bone pain. Notify your doctor if you develop any new or worsened symptoms after beginning treatment with LUPRON DEPOT.1

Take an active role in your treatment

Communicate openly with your doctor. Ask questions, share any concerns, and reach out if your experience with LUPRON DEPOT changes. A proactive approach can help you feel more in control.

Commit to your treatment plan and scheduled visits with your doctor

Get all of the doses your doctor prescribes, so you can get the most from your LUPRON DEPOT therapy.

If you experience side effects, speak up!

Talk to your doctor, as they may have some ideas for helping to manage side effects. It’s also important to let your healthcare team know if you experience new or worsening symptoms.
